O'Donnell & Tuomey's Timberyard Housing is an interesting design in the way the windows and doors are sunk in to create almost indistinguishable openings - which I think emphasizes the wall more. I am trying to emphasize my use of walls, so this could be a good way of doing it. Perhaps by thinking of my openings as subtractions of wall I can draw greater attention to the overall wall.
