I really like the open and shut elements of Lacaton and Vassal's Latapie House. Designed to change for the seasons, parts of the façade open and create outside rooms that can be inhabited in the warmer summer months. The way the house completely shuts down is interesting, and then bit by bit, the building can open to the outside world. This use of flexible walls and facades is something I would like to explore.
